IS215UCCAM06 CompactPCI Processor Module
The IS215UCCAM06 (IS215UCCAM06A) is a General Electric UCCA-series CompactPCI processor module — a complete controller assembly that runs turbine application code in the GE Mark VI / Mark VIe platform. The UCCA is GE's single-board-computer controller: the compute engine seats in a CompactPCI enclosure and runs the QNX Neutrino real-time operating system, an architecture GE used as the CPCI counterpart to the VME-based UCVx controllers. As an M-series number, the M06 is supplied as an assembled module rather than a bare processor card.
Role in the Mark VI / Mark VIe controller
In module form the UCCA pairs its processor board with memory and the IS200EPMC mezzanine card. The controller connects to the Unit Data Highway (UDH) over an RJ-45 10BaseT/100BaseTX Ethernet port for HMIs and other equipment, and to the <R>, <S> and <T> I/O network (IONet) for the distributed I/O packs; an RS-232C port handles setup. Clock alignment across the IONet uses the IEEE 1588 protocol to keep controllers and I/O packs synchronized to within roughly ±100 microseconds. The controller runs application software specific to the machine — steam, gas, aero-derivative (LM) or balance-of-plant — as rungs or blocks. Because processor and memory content changed across UCCA builds, we do not quote a fixed clock speed for the M06; the board label is definitive.
Diagnose the Symptom Before Ordering an M06
Swapping a controller module is costly, and the fault is often nearby rather than in the board. Isolate it first:

Use the LEDs. Power, reset, flash-disk and Ethernet indicators help you tell a hung processor from a lost network link.

Verify CompactPCI rack power and slot order. The slot-1 system board, if de-powered or ejected, halts the other controllers in the rack — a frequent source of false diagnoses.

Reinstate the clock. A stored module may have its CMOS battery jumper open; reconnect it and set the real-time clock (NTP or ToolboxST) before condemning the module.

Separate configuration from hardware. A failed application load or a ControlST/firmware mismatch behaves like a hardware failure but is fixed in software.

Test the UDH/IONet and I/O packs. Network faults and failed I/O packs strand otherwise-healthy controllers.
When the rack, clock, configuration and network are all sound, the M06 is a warranted replacement.
Why the build number matters (M03 vs M06)
The UCCA family shares one function but ships in several builds. IS215 is the Mark VI assembly family, UCCA is the CompactPCI controller function, and the M06 identifies this specific module build — distinct from an M03 and from the bare H-series processor board. Build numbers can carry different processor steps and memory, so an M06 should be matched to an M06 (and its revision) unless GE-approved compatibility is confirmed.
