Information About 48ASE3M20

The 48ASE3M20 belongs to Siemens’ Class 48 ESP100 solid-state overload relay line, engineered to deliver accurate thermal protection without the mechanical wear found in traditional bimetallic relays. With trip Class 20, it provides time-delayed tripping suitable for standard motor loads, ensuring the motor is protected during overloads without unnecessary shutdowns.

Key Features:

• Current Range: 9–18 A: Adjustable range for flexible motor protection.

• Voltage Rating: 600V AC: Compatible with standard industrial 3-phase systems.

• Phase Loss Protection: Prevents motor damage due to loss of one phase.

• Trip Class 20: Suitable for general-purpose motor loads.

• Manual Reset: Ensures fault verification before restarting.

• Solid-State Operation: Reliable, wear-free protection with consistent trip behavior.

• 3-Phase Protection: Ideal for industrial motors and pump systems.

The Siemens 48ASE3M20 offers efficient, compact, and reliable overload protection for small to medium-sized motors—though now discontinued, it remains a trusted solution in many existing systems.
