The IS200TBCIH2B is a GE Speedtronic Mark VI contact input terminal board (TBCI) built on the H2 hardware group. Two barrier-type terminal blocks, each removable with two screws for maintenance, land the field wiring — up to #12 AWG per terminal — for 24 dry contact inputs. The board supplies the DC voltage that wets those contacts and carries noise-suppression circuitry to absorb surge and high-frequency noise, so field runs do not trigger false state changes. From the board, molded-plug cables carry the signals to a Mark VI VME contact processor (the VCCC or VCRC), or PDIA I/O packs mount directly to the board in a Mark VIe architecture. A simplex point uses connector JR1; a triple-redundant point uses JR1, JS1 and JT1 to feed the three control channels.
Rule the Board Out Before You Swap It
A TBCI is largely a passive termination, so most input faults are not the board. Check in this order: the field device and wiring for a single misbehaving point; the PDIA pack or VME processor and its cable when a whole group of inputs disappears at once; the contact-excitation supply when every point reads the same; and the connectors for intermittent behavior after maintenance. Reserve replacement for boards with real, visible damage — cracked blocks, burnt terminals, corrosion, or heat marks around the suppression components.
