Physically, the DS200TCQCG1B is one of the most jumper-dense boards in the Mark V line: 24 configurable jumpers, three 40-pin connectors, three 34-pin connectors, and one 16-pin connector. Two of those connections form a passive six-port bridge for the DENET network, used to exchange data with other boards on the core.

Function Within the Core

Known both as the "RST Overflow Board" and the "Analog IO Expander Board" in GE documentation, this board occupies position 4 of each of the <R>, <S>, and <T> cores. It supplies the excitation voltage for the position LVDTs and performs the digital-to-analog conversion representing the fuel flow requested by the control system — and it depends on the TCQA (and the TCQB, when present) installed on the same core to function correctly.

Diagnose Before You Buy

• If the symptom is an LVDT excitation failure or instability in the fuel-flow calculation, first confirm the TCQA on the same core is operating normally — a healthy TCQC doesn't make up for a faulty TCQA.
• Before replacing the board over an out-of-spec voltage reading on the diagnostic screen, check the core power supply's (TCPS) fuses and confirm the system's calibration file is up to date for the board revisions actually installed — a calibration mismatch produces misleading readings with no physical fault.
• Physically confirm the core in question has a TCQC installed before ordering the part — not every Mark V application uses this board.
