From the <P> Core to the Control Engine

The DS200TCEAG1B conditions and scales the shaft speed, flame, and synchronizing signals it receives, and writes them via IONET to the STCA board on the <R1> core — in the case of the <X> processor, through the JX1 connector. The <R1>'s I/O engine then performs median selection among the three values received from the <X>, <Y>, and <Z> boards, and the result travels over the Corebus to the Control Engine. This is a protection board — it lives on the <P> core, physically separate from the <R>/<S>/<T> control cores — and we treat any content related to it with extra rigor.

• Berg jumpers out of the correct position (they must identify the right <X>/<Y>/<Z> position and be consistent across all three boards).
• PROM modules not transferred correctly from the old board, or pins bent during reinstallation.
• TCPS fuses not checked.
• Flat cables with corrosion on the pins, requiring conductive grease on reconnection.
