Mobotix builds decentralised German-engineered cameras: the recording, analytics and event logic run on the camera itself rather than on a central NVR, which is why Mobotix systems are specified for sites with poor bandwidth, harsh environments or no server room.
What we stock
M-series and S-series modular cameras; D-series and V-series domes; c26 hemispheric indoor cameras; the M73 platform and its interchangeable sensor modules; MOBOTIX MOVE cameras and NVRs; thermal and thermal-radiometric sensor modules for early fire detection; MxMultiSense and MxDisplay accessories; PoE and MxBus power boxes; wall, pole and outdoor mounts; MxManagementCenter licences.
Compatibility notes
The Mobotix architecture is unusual and specification errors are common. Sensor modules are keyed to specific camera bodies — an M73 module will not seat in an M16. Day and night sensor variants are separate part numbers and cannot be swapped by firmware. MxBus accessories require a camera generation that carries the MxBus connector. If you are extending or repairing an existing system, send us the body part number and we will confirm which modules and accessories actually fit it.
NDAA status
Mobotix is a German manufacturer and is not restricted under Section 889 of the NDAA, so it is available for U.S. federal and federally-funded projects.
