Compatibility notes
Axis part numbers carry a suffix that identifies the regional/variant SKU (for example 01591-001 versus 01591-002) — the wrong suffix can mean the wrong power input or a different lens. Always send the full part number from the product label, not just the model name. Mounts are series-specific: a P32 mount will not fit a Q35 housing.
NDAA status
Axis is a Swedish manufacturer and its products are not subject to the Section 889 procurement restrictions that apply to certain other camera brands, which makes Axis a common substitute on U.S. federal and federally-funded projects.
